Digital printing on a special transparent film

The wall cladding of the garage of the Iris Porsche hotel is made of 140 pieces of aluminium panels with a skyline motif and water reflections. A total area of  350m² has been printed and glued on the 5mm plates.

The motif was printed on a special transparent film which was glued on a silver background. The special feature of this technique: Because of the printing on the transparent film the metallic look of the wall panels remains visible through the printing.
